Jastrow, Morris

(1861-1922)
   American orien-talist, son of Marcus Jastrow. Born in Poland, he was brought up in the US. He taught Semitics at the University of Pennsylvania, where he became research professor of Assyriology. He wrote studies of biblical and Assyriological topics.
